In October of 2007, two major distributors of industrial and oilfield PVF supplies, McJunkin Corporation and Red Man Pipe & Supply Company, announced completion of a merger of equals that makes the new company the leading industrial and oilfield PVF supplier in North America. McJunkin Red Man operates from more than 250 locations in the United States, Canada, and Nigeria. The merger has created the largest and most diversified PVF distributor to the energy industry.

Today, McJunkin Red Man brings added products and services to the market along with the knowledge and expertise of over 3,500 employees. Specializing in the distribution of industrial and oilfield PVF products, McJunkin Red man has a significant presence in the oil and gas industry, chemical and petrochemical, refining processes, power companies, manufacturing, and mining, just to name a few.

Nusco Pipe and Supply was founded in 1983 in Calgary, AB, Canada as a distribution business. In 1988, a manufacturing division was developed. In 2002, Midfield Supply purchased Nusco Manufacturing and Supply ltd. and operated it as a division of Midfield. In 2005, Red Man Pipe & Supply Ltd. purchased 51% of Midfield and in 2006 the manufacturing division was sold.
